Learn step by step how to set up and use the AlexaFit app to reach your fitness and nutrition goals
About This Guide
This guide will help you set up the AlexaFit app from scratch. You will learn how to create your account, set your goals, add foods and track your progress. Each step is explained in detail with clear instructions and images.
Start
After installation, open the app from your home screen. You will see the welcome screen with the AlexaFit logo. Tap the "Start" button to begin setup.

Language Selection
The app will ask you to choose your language. You can select Romanian, English or other available languages.
Select your preferred language from the list
Country Selection
Choose the country for your food database. This determines which foods and dishes are available in the app.

Goal Selection
Choose your main goal: Lose weight, Maintain, or Gain weight. This will affect calorie calculations and recommendations.
Choose one of the three goals: Lose weight, Maintain or Gain weight
Continue
After choosing your goal, tap "Continue" to go to the next step.
Tap the "Continue" button to proceed
Choose Activity Level
Select your physical activity level: Sedentary, Lightly active, Moderately active, Very active or Extremely active. This affects your calorie needs.
Choose the activity level that best describes your lifestyle
Complete Personal Information
Enter your gender, age, height in cm and weight in kg. This information is essential for calculating your calories.
Fill in all fields: gender, age, height and weight
Target Weight
Enter the target weight you want to reach. The app will calculate your daily calories automatically.
Enter your desired weight in kg and tap "Continue"
Results
The app will show your results: daily calorie needs and macronutrient distribution. Read carefully and tap "Continue".

Authentication
Choose how to sign in: With Google, With Apple or With Email. If you choose Email, enter your address and create a password.

Become Pro User
The app will offer you a Pro trial. You can try free for 3 days or close the window to continue with the free version.

Welcome to the Home Screen
Congratulations! You have set up AlexaFit. You are now on the main screen with your dashboard, stats and options to add foods.
Explore the home screen and get familiar with the interface
Add Food
To add a food, tap the "+" button at the bottom or centre of the screen. You will go to the search screen.
Tap the "+" button to add a food
Search for the Food
Type the food name in the search bar. The app will show similar foods. You can search for fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy, dishes, etc.

Choose Quantity
After finding the food, tap it and choose the quantity. You can select units (grams, pieces, tablespoons) and adjust the amount.
Select the unit of measure and enter the exact quantity
Add to Your Menu
After selecting the quantity, tap "Add to your menu" or "Add". The food will be added and calories calculated automatically.
